Nearly Christmas!!

This is the largest of the three turkeys and he keeps trying to escape for some reason. Has he looked at the calendar?

Winter sun

There was a frost first thing, but it's been sunny all morning. After lunch the light changed and the colours became more subtle across the valley. The larch trees are losing their golden hue and I suppose we shall only see the needles for another week or so before they drop.
