Wonderful walks

I love this footpath up to the top of Gun Moor. It has always been said that it is on top of the old

Roman road that came down past the farm and onto Turner's Pool.

My neighbour took this photo earlier in the year.It is at a crossroad of footpaths and is frequently used by locals and visitors to the area. I went up last week looking for bilberries and have made a wonderful bilberry tonic which I am keeping in readiness for the winter months! I found the recipe in one of the James Wong books.
